Solar Thermal Servicing

A solar thermal system will need to be serviced every few years to ensure it is running as efficiently as possible.

Thermal Earth can offer servicing of a Solar Thermal system and our domestic service includes:

• First 30 miles travelling from our Head Office
• Engineer on site for up to 1.5 hours
• System flush (if required)
• Check system operation and system settings
• Check sensor and controller readings
• Check system anti-freeze level
• Check system expansion vessel
• Service domestic hot water cylinder and pressure relief valves (PRV's)
• Tightening of electrical connection and anti-vibration mounts
• Ensure no leaks
• Check hot water pasteurisation settings
• Record system operation parameters

Cost of service: £150 +VAT

Please note that we only offer solar thermal servicing for systems we installed. We do not provide servicing for systems installed by another company.

Additional notes:

• The above does not include for any additional anti-freeze that may be required. This will be quoted at the time of the works as it can vary greatly between properties.
• Does not include any component replacement outside of warranty. Workmanship warranty is 2 years, manufacturers warranties vary and apply from date of commissioning. Please see Terms and Conditions from your original purchase.
• Additional mileage will be quoted at the time of enquiry. We will do our best to arrange multiple works in an area to minimise costs.
