Heat Pump Upgrade

Introduction

We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to the heating system at a property in Llandrindod Wells. This project involves the installation of a state-of-the-art MasterTherm Ba60I heat pump, which promises to enhance energy efficiency and provide superior heating comfort. Here’s a detailed look at the work involved in this project.

Existing System Removal

The first step in this project is to carefully drain down the existing central heating system. This includes removing all the old radiators throughout the property. Additionally, we will drain down the existing boiler and buffer tank from the old biomass system. This process ensures that the new system can be installed without any interference from the old components.

New System Installation

With the old system removed, we will proceed with the installation of the new components:

Radiators x6, Thermostatic Radiator Valves x9, New Heat Pump, Base Construction, Valve and System filter, condensate pipe to manage the condensation produced by the heat pump, time and temperature controller, Pipework Adaptation:

Commissioning and Testing

Once all components are installed, the heat pump will undergo rigorous testing and commissioning to ensure it operates at peak efficiency. The system will also be registered to comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
