Underfloor Heating - Wooden Flooring with Underfloor Heating
Posted on 02 June 2017 in FAQ
If you are intending to have a hardwood floor on any level it is essential that any non-screeded floor has a PUG (a loose mixture of sand and cement) filling between the pipework and final floor to maximize heat distribution. We do not recommend that any timber, chipboard or MDF floor exceeds 22mm in overall thickness.
We recommend you choose a floating engineered solution for the best performance from a low temperature Underfloor Heating System.
