All biomass boilers require annual maintenance as minimum and some larger commercial systems should be serviced twice per year. Servicing should be carried out by a trained biomass engineer. Biomass boilers do require weekly or fortnightly checks by the homeowner to ensure all is operating normally. Dependent on boiler type and manufacturer will dictate the amount of maintenance required by the end user.
